NASSER NISHABURI is about preserving a rich culture and continuing a family journey that began circa 1750 by producing modern rugs and reintroducing the vintage ones that capture the emotions of the weavers and designers and their profound ancestral heritage in creative and contemporary forms. It is about creating and curating collections of beautiful rugs and introducing them to the new generation of enthusiasts for whom the story behind a carpet is as important as its aesthetics.

Our collection is formed by years of work via producing exquisite carpets and rugs with care and collecting unique pieces from single weavers and homes and markets. We travel far and wide to curate or create our carpets. Through years of experience, we have developed knowledge to see and discover pieces that are far from ordinary. Every piece in our collection, regardless of material value, radiates with a vibe. That is a reflection of the passion that has intertwined into its warp and weft.

It is by only sitting with the weavers and tying knots that one can feel the rugs better. Our designs are inspired and influenced by a rich heritage and culture. However, we have created new generations of rugs to fit the modern interiors of the 21st century.
VINTAGE CARPETS
Worn and tattered vintage rugs have patina and feel that is so calming and incomparable to contemporary rugs. Their colours have subdued with age and they have acquired amazing textures by decades of use. Our vintage collection is a special curation of real old pieces that are restored to serve and decorate your home for many more decades.

MASTERPIECES
We have seen thousands upon thousands of carpets. Once in a while, we come across rugs that strand out far higher than others. This could be for many different reasons. This collection is about extraordinary rugs.
KILIMS AND FLATWEAVES
Scarcity is the mother of creativity. There are only limited geometric shapes that kilim weavers can make. This scarcity of options opens the way to the creation of some of the most unusual forms and symbols and marvelous use of colours.
VILLAGE AND TRIBAL RUGS
Often woven by ladies, these rugs are the most interesting manifestations of beautiful thoughts, feelings, and dreams of weavers inspired by nature and influenced by thousands of years of tradition and culture.
PERSIAN COLLAGE
It always feels painful to retire a beautiful piece of carpet that has served us gracefully for decades when they are badly damaged and are beyond repair. Persian Collage was our innovation to bring such rugs back to life. Every piece in this collection is a collection by itself. Fragments are antique rugs restored and artistically joined together to form these marvellous pieces.
CITY CARPETS
Such rugs are the result of months of work by several artists and craftsmen. A designer carefully drafts the pattern, the yarn is prepared and dyed by other masters and finally, weavers translate the design into stunning pieces with intricate patterns.
